Back home in Atlanta after coming back from Bronycon in Baltimore and boy are my legs tired.
No really. Walking them city blocks was the most walking I've done in a while. Mah goodness
GAHD.
BRONYCON WAS AMAZING AAAHH
CAN'T DEAL
Well it was amazing once I actually got there. Through unfortunate circumstances, narrowly missing a deadline and a hefty dose of bullshit thrown into the mix it turned out that my art show print was too big to ride with me on Amtrak as a carry-on, and shipping would've gotten to the convention late. Last-possible-minute scramblings resulted in having to cancel the first half of my round-trip train ride to Baltimore and go with big sis and her boyfriend to rent a car from Enterprise. Twelve hours of "no fucking pony music in this car" later I arrived in Baltimore, made a mad dash to the art show, almost whacked somebody over the head with this 12 by 36 inch pony print because they wouldn't let me in to drop it off at first, managed to drop it off, and then
Almost fainted in the middle of the vendor hall.
:I
Almost.
Met some awesome people, had an awesome time, did not want to leave when that time came and now this apparently very real "post-con depression" is setting in Spent most of my time there wandering the vendor hall and looking at all the pretty things that I couldn't afford. I had some savings which I then proceeded to blow most of on pony prints but it was worth it, dangit. Now my walls at home won't be so damn boring Bought a print from BlindCoyote, print and buttons from EarthnAshes, print from midnightpremiere, an art book from fleebites, Luna chibi necklace from Natural-Pop, Discord print from Sprech4, and I came this close to blowing the rest of my money on a Discord plushie from Cutie Corral but then thought better of it. Train ride home was markedly more lonely without plushies to hug.
The panel was horrifying. Mah goodness. Never been too good with being in front of a crowd and even with the relatively small crowd public speaking is still something that doesn't really come natural-like to me Met Kylami at the panel, talked with a few other people afterwards (whom I did not get the usernames of ugh), and then the rest of the weekend was spent either hanging out at Amarcato's Artist Alley booth/with buddies, walking around the convention center/vendor hall/local eateries, going to other panels (and envying the other panelists' public speaking ability), and coming to this slightly embarrassing realization that this whole "FRIENDSHIP IS MAAAAGIIIIIC" thing really does have some merit
Had to leave at about 3pm on Sunday to go catch a train home and missed all the after-parties Fifteen hour train ride home, and as soon as I get back to Atlanta and walk out of the train station I almost get mowed down by a taxi.
Aaahhh, home.
Bronycon photos over here because if I stuck all these in this journal it'd probably crash a few computers. Still didn't get as many pictures as I should have So many awesome cosplays.
I know this is a convention about a kid's show but I still didn't expect to see many kids. Of which there were many. And also lots of people above the average-Brony range of 18-30. Most notably an older dude who was cosplaying Octavia and rockin' custom pony-hoof heels better than I ever could.
And a real, live, legit monkey in a stroller. I bet his favorite pony is Steven Magnet.
And a huge, as-much-as-can-be-heartfelt-through-a-computer-screen thaaannnnksss to ThatRandomNerd who paid for my train ticket/the hotel room and made this whole thing possible. Now I owe you lewd pictures of ponies in bikinis but that's fiiinneee I haven't tried any lewd ponies yet anyway.
More incentive for me to open a fucking Patreon/get a fucking job so I won't have to rely on other people's generosity if I go back next year. Miiiight look into vending idk

Week break
Over the past few weeks I've been feeling exceptionally shitty about things, and the shittiness has fortunately coincided with some planned vacation time with family. So for the next week I'm going to just...cut off from everything. No DeviantArt, no Facebook, no Discord chatrooms, and no dino game (this'll be helped by the fact that where we're going notoriously has bad WiFi signal, pfft).

There's only two designs up right now while I go through and see what could go on shirts (or notebooks, or tote bags, or a throw pillow, idfk), but those two designs are :star: On Sale :star: for the next two days :dummy:
also open to suggestions on what y'all would like on shirts. Maybe Puffershy could go on a phone case idk
End All, Say What (Avengers: Endgame spoilers)
To reiterate;
If you haven't seen Endgame yet

Ain't been doing much of anything lately other than playing the fuckin' dinosaur game and taking enough screenshots of it to write a pretty convincing "dinosaur field study" picture book. Whenever I've not been sucked back into the Mesozoic Era (not only the Triassic or Jurassic or Cretaceous because some of the dinos in the game never lived side-by-side, damnit), I spend more time than is strictly fuckin' necessary psycho-analyzing myself and all the stupid things I've done and have happened to me that've led up to this point in my life. A lot of it would be pretty believable if played out on a sitcom or a 3am infomercial, because this kind
